Eligibility criteria for schools seeking to set up ATLs encompass those managed by the government, local bodies, or private trusts/societies, catering to students ranging from at least Grade VI to Grade X.

Upon selection, the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) extends a grant-in-aid package that encompasses both a one-time establishment fund of Rs. 10 lakh and operational funding of Rs. 10 lakh. This financial support is granted for a maximum duration of 5 years.
