ICSE Class 6 Chemistry Syllabus 2020-21

                       Class 6th Chemistry ICSE Syllabus

The Indian certificate of secondary education (ICSE) has prepared an introductory compact syllabus for chemistry. The chapter insights are mentioned in the syllabus. There are seven main themes or divisions in the entire syllabus. ICSE class 6 chemistry syllabus is discussed here briefly.

  1. Fundamentals of Chemistry: In this chapter, the students will learn the principal concept of chemistry.  The students will get an idea of the subject from this chapter. The meaning, importance, development, and industry of chemistry are mentioned here.

  2. Elements, Compounds & Mixtures: This chapter includes the concept of the element, compound, and mixture. The definition, properties, and examples of these chemical materials are mentioned in this chapter.

  3. Matter: The introduction of the matter is given in this chapter. The arrangement, properties, and classification of the matter are described here.

  4. Physical And Chemical Changes: The students will learn the different changes of chemical materials from this chapter. Two changes such as physical and chemical changes are defined here.

  5. Air: The arrangement, particles of air.

  6. Water: Water is a vital compound of Chemistry. The students should learn the properties, nature, and reactions of water from this chapter.

  7. Rock And Soil: Two most important parts of our nature are rock and soil. From this chapter of ICSE class 6 chemistry syllabus, the students will learn the nature and properties of rock and soil.
